Our U13 Hawks are officially MET District Len Stentiford-Bopara Division Champions after a brilliantly contested final league encounter away at West Essex CC.

With the title on the line, there was very little to separate the two sides. The match ended in a draw, but with Frenford having lost fewer wickets, the Hawks did enough to claim the all-important advantage and secure the Division title.

It was a fitting conclusion to what has been an excellent campaign from this group. Throughout the season, the Hawks have shown resilience, competitiveness and, perhaps most importantly, a real belief in each other when games have been tight.

And this one certainly was.

With the pressure of a title at stake and West Essex fighting hard on their home ground, the Hawks stayed composed and battled right through to the final ball. When the result was confirmed, the celebrations told the story.

A fantastic achievement for the players, coaches and everyone who has supported them throughout the campaign.

There is something special developing within this group, and this title is another important milestone in their journey.
