Club Captain & Head Coach Shares His Thoughts On Cricket

We are proud to share some exciting news from the wider Essex cricket community that hits very close to home.

Essex Cricket has officially announced the launch of "The Essex Edge" , a brand new podcast where they will share the same love for cricket with multiple guests, have discussions and debates, provide expert analysis, and offer unique perspectives. ?️

A Frenford Legend on the Mic
We are thrilled to confirm that our very own Robert Rollins, Frenford Lead Coach and former Essex County & England ‘A’ star, will be featured in the inaugural episodes.

The show is hosted by Arfan Akram, a long-time friend of the club, ensuring the dialogue is as knowledgeable as it is entertaining. For our members and junior players, this is a unique opportunity to hear one of our own sharing the elite-level insights that he brings to the nets at the Jack Carter Centre every week.

What to Expect
As the official announcement states, "The Essex Edge" is designed for those who live and breathe the game. It will feature:

Expert Analysis: Breaking down the modern game.

Unique Perspectives: Real talk from those who have played at the highest level.

Frenford Pride: Seeing our coaching leadership represented on the county's biggest media platform.

Tune In & Support
As we continue to grow the Frenford legacy, we encourage all members to support this initiative. It is a testament to the caliber of coaching we have at FCC that Robert is a primary voice for this new venture.

Keep your eyes on our social media channels for the official link to the first episode.
