The business end of the season has arrived, and while many competitions have now reached their conclusion, three Frenford junior sides remain firmly in the hunt for silverware. With quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals ahead, there is still everything to play for as our young Falcons continue to represent the club with distinction across Essex.

U19s – Ravi Bopara Cup Quarter-Final

Our U19s continue to enjoy their best Ravi Bopara Cup campaign for several seasons and now face a mouthwatering local derby against neighbours Ilford CC in the quarter-finals.

Having produced a series of composed and mature performances throughout the competition, Haroon's side have earned their place amongst the final eight. The squad has shown real depth with both bat and ball, and will be looking to continue that momentum against familiar opposition. Knockout cricket always brings added intensity, but the boys have shown throughout the tournament that they thrive under pressure. We look forward to another exciting evening as they bid for a place in the semi-finals.

U14s – Sir Alastair Cook Cup Quatre-Final

For the third consecutive season, our U14 Falcons have reached the Essex wide Sir Alastair Cook Cup, Quater-Finals , another outstanding achievement for this talented group.

Captain Ayaan Azam now leads his side into a tough local derby away to South Woodford CC. Knockout cricket always presents a different challenge, but this is exactly the type of occasion this squad has worked so hard for. We know they'll embrace the opportunity and represent Frenford with pride as they chase a place on Finals Day.

U12s – Brian Taylor Trophy Final

History has already been made.

For the first time, our U12s have reached the Brian Taylor Trophy Final, where they will face the tough Saffron Walden CC opposition on Friday 21st August at the prestigious Felsted School, with play starting at 12:00pm.

The final will be played over 35 overs per innings, the longest format these young players have faced this season, providing the ultimate test of skill, concentration and character. After an outstanding cup campaign, Captain Lekh and his young squad have already written their names into Frenford history. They now have the opportunity to complete an unforgettable journey by bringing home one of Essex's most prestigious junior trophies.

With three teams still competing across three major Essex competitions, it promises to be an exciting few weeks for the club. We wish all of our players, coaches and families the very best as they continue their cup journeys.
