It was another memorable weekend for Frenford Cricket Club, with centuries flowing, wickets tumbling and more players writing their names into the FCC Honours Boards.

Leading the way were 1st XI batters Danial Mahmood and Abdullah Shahzad, who both produced magnificent centuries in our Dukes Essex League Plate victory over Woodford Green. Danial struck a superb 122 from just 89 balls before Abdullah followed with a sensational 139 from only 94 deliveries, giving supporters an afternoon to remember.

There was no stopping Vishal Patil either, who made it back-to-back appearances in the FCC 5-Fer Club. After earning his place last weekend, Vishal returned with another outstanding spell, claiming 5 wickets for 41 runs against Billericay to underline his consistency with the ball.

Our junior section also continued to shine. Bhavymeet Singh produced a superb five-wicket haul in the TB Matchplay Trophy, while young Aman Singh announced himself in style with extraordinary figures of 5 wickets for just 1 run from only 2 overs for our U9 Hawks.

Congratulations to Danial, Abdullah, Vishal, Bhavymeet and Aman on earning their places on this week's Honours Board. Performances like these continue to showcase the incredible talent developing throughout Frenford Cricket Club from our youngest Hawk right through to our senior sides.
