Another memorable weekend for Frenford Cricket Club saw outstanding individual performances recognised on this week's FCC Honours Board. Across both the men's and women's sections, players stepped up when their teams needed them most, producing match-defining contributions that helped drive FCC success.
Saif-Ali Zahoor – FCC 5-Fer Club
Young seamer Saif-Ali Zahoor earned his place in the FCC 5-Fer Club with an outstanding spell for the 3rd XI against Oakfield Parkonians CC.
Finishing with remarkable figures of 6-58 from 13 overs, Saif bowled with control, discipline and maturity beyond his years. Against a competitive batting lineup, he repeatedly struck at crucial moments to keep the opposition in check and ensure the chase remained within reach.
His efforts provided the perfect foundation for the batting unit to complete the job and secure maximum points for FCC.
Rohit Puthawala – FCC Hundred Club
In the same fixture, Rohit Puthawala once again demonstrated his class with a magnificent unbeaten 132 from 119 balls.
His innings included 12 fours and 6 sixes, combining power, composure and intelligent strike rotation throughout the chase. Rohit anchored the innings superbly, ensuring FCC remained in control as they hunted down their target.
The century also marked a significant personal milestone, with Rohit now entering the FCC Hundred Club for a fourth consecutive season, having recorded centuries in 2023, 2024, 2025 and now 2026.
Fatima Imtiaz – FCC Hundred Club
Perhaps the standout performance of the weekend came from Senior Kestrels Captain Fatima Imtiaz, who produced one of the finest innings seen in FCC colours.
Batting against Orsett & Thurrock CC in the EWPL, Fatima compiled an extraordinary unbeaten 204 from just 114 deliveries, striking 35 boundaries and 2 sixes in a breathtaking display of batting.
Her double century formed the backbone of a massive FCC total of 338 and showcased the leadership, skill and determination she continues to bring to the club both as a player and captain.
Uwais Molvi – FCC Hat-Trick Club
Another special moment from the weekend came courtesy of Uwais Molvi, who etched his name into FCC history by joining the Hat-Trick Club.
Representing the 2nd XI against Harlow CC, Uwais produced a memorable spell, finishing with figures of 3-48 from 11.1 overs, including the rare achievement of taking three wickets in three consecutive deliveries.
His hat-trick swung momentum back in FCC's favour proving a pivotal contribution during a fiercely contested encounter. Unfortunately we could not chase the runs in the 2nd innigs, despite a very close chase,. But mMoments like these are treasured throughout the game and reflect the impact Uwais continues to have for the club.
Congratulations to Saif-Ali Zahoor, Rohit Puthawala, Fatima Imtiaz and Uwais Molvi on earning their places on this week's FCC Honours Board, while Bhavyameet and our BT Cup U12 squad also deserve enormous credit for their achievements.
From emerging young talent to established performers and inspirational leaders, these achievements reflect the ambition, quality and spirit that continue to drive Frenford Cricket Club forward.
