Recognising a Journey Rooted in Community, Commitment, and Giving Back

Frenford Cricket Club and the wider Frenford Clubs community are incredibly proud to celebrate Robert Rollins on his induction into the Essex Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame, a prestigious honour recognising both his achievements in cricket and his ongoing contribution to youth development.

Founded in 1939, the Essex Boys & Girls Clubs (EBGC) has a long and respected history of supporting and shaping young people across the county. Its Hall of Fame celebrates individuals who began their journeys within its clubs and have gone on to achieve success while continuing to inspire others.

Robert’s journey, from his playing days representing Essex and England A, to his continued involvement within Frenford, reflects a deep commitment to both the game and the community. His work with young players and presence within the club continues to have a lasting impact.

He joins an illustrious group of inaugural inductees, including:

Arnie Dawson
Colin McMillan
Lewis Richardson
Sonny Hardy

A group that highlights the depth of talent and character developed through EBGC.

In the accompanying image, Robert is pictured alongside EBGC Chief Executive & longtime Frenford Member, Martin Solder MBE, marking this special recognition.

For Frenford, this is more than an individual achievement, it is a reflection of the values and pathways that continue to define the club.

We congratulate Robert on this well-deserved honour, a proud moment for Frenford and its community.
